What?
This year's ESD meeting will focus on the "Whole School Approach" concept. On the first date after the winter break we will start with an introductory lecture on the topic:
How does my school become a sustainable place of learning?
When schools set out to not only incorporate more Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) into the classroom, but to make their entire school more sustainable - from the school building to the entire school life and organization - people are increasingly talking about the so-called "Whole School Approach". What does this concept mean exactly? Where does it come from and what are the current framework conditions? How do I approach the project of making my school more sustainable and where can I find support?

These questions will be highlighted in the introductory lecture by Ronny Keydel, the Saxon expert promoter for ESD/Global Learning (arche noVa e.V.), at the ESD meeting on 04.04.2022.
After the lecture there will be enough time for exchange. Your questions, ideas and suggestions are welcome!

Who?
Ronny has been active in the field of ESD and sustainability since 2003. He established and coordinated for a long time the implementation of ESD project days at schools in Saxony at arche noVa, coordinated in 2013/14 the establishment of the portal www.bne-sachsen.de and the creation of now almost 250 ESD teaching examples and is since 2015 Saxon expert promoter for ESD.
