Accessible installation made of sand, resembling a sandbox. In the sandbox visitors can via headphones listen to audios of others life dreams, their fulfillment or non-fulfillment and disappointment connected to those.

Why?

Sand is a very commonplace object. Sand is part of a surprising amount of everyday items. But for many it is not clear, that sand is a finite ressource. Immense sand mining leads to big conflicts and destruction of habitats. This installation clarifies this connection.
