Lecture on subversive activist art in relation to the Peng! collective (Project Room) (in German)

Subversive creativity in action: On Sunday afternoon, participants dove into the topic of creative activism in the lecture “From Profit to Peng!” Led by the Peng! collective, they explored impactful campaigns that shine a light on social injustices through the fusion of art and activism. Using examples ranging from ethics in supermarkets to profit-driven pharmaceutical practices, the presentation demonstrated how visual storytelling can effectively communicate urgent global issues.

The work of Peng!, which combines artistic expression with technical sophistication, demonstrated the potential for creative resistance and inspired participants to consider new ways of spreading their actions. The lecture and the subsequent discussion served as a preparation for the following workshop, where the learned and discussed concepts were to be experienced practically.
