COME ON WITH THE GOOD LIFE - From the imperial to the solidary mode of living<\/strong> \u2013 Workshop<\/summary>
\n

Global crises are intensifying. But where are the answers? The I.L.A. collective has set out in search of ways of living and doing business that do not come at the expense of others and nature. In the process, it becomes clear that people in countless places are working for a sustainable, socially and ecologically just way of living together. All their projects offer concrete alternatives in the here and now.
The currently dominant imperial mode of living - as the collective shows in its first book \"At the expense of others?\" - depends on political decisions and our everyday actions. So another world would be feasible. But how can this succeed? We want to explore this question together in the workshop and use our biographies, perspectives and life experiences for this purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Tobi Rosswog from the I.L.A. Werkstatt<\/a><\/span>
As an activist, freelance lecturer, author and initiator, Tobi Rosswog is on the road for social-ecological transformation. With all his time and energy, he is committed to change - towards a society beyond work, property, money and the logic of exchange. He has been active in this sense for more than ten years and invites people to change their perspective in around 150 lectures every year. Among other things, he co-initiated the movement living utopia, the educational collective imago, the media collective Wandelwerkstatt, the solidary Mitmach-bahnhofskiosk zur molli and the utopian free spaces Funkenhaus as well as the K20 Projekthaus in order to make these ideas practically tangible. Practical and Concrete - A Workshop of colorful and creative action ideas
Whether it's a bicycle demo, walking stuff, painting bicycle stripes on the ground overnight, subversively calling for zero fares as a railroad company and starting a debate with it, starting forest occupations to prevent a highway construction. There are many possibilities to bring the topic of traffic change to the public and to come step by step to a sustainable mobility. This workshop full of colorful pictures from creative actions should invite you to become active yourself and to form groups. Are you part of it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HACKING POLITICS: how does (local) politics work and how can I use it?<\/strong> \u2013 Workshop<\/summary>
\n

\"Hacking politics\" is a philosophy of making politics that approaches politics like a computer system and asks: How can I \"hack\" the political system and make it work in my sense? It is a perspective on politics that comes from computer science: to understand the (local) political system, to penetrate it in its functioning, in order to then act on the adjusting screws in a targeted manner and bring about change: that is the goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The subsequent workshop \"Writing City Council Motions\" is especially designed for those people who are not city councilors at all but are looking for ways to get involved politically. Preparing city council motions yourself and feeding them specifically into the city council can be a very effective strategy for making a targeted impact on local politics. How to turn political ideas into city council motions and what to consider when doing so will be worked on in small group work based on topics brought along.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Norbert Rost has led the \"Future City Dresden\" from the Dresden mayor's office and was a non-party local councilor in Dresden's Old Town for seven years. (Art) Therapy in the Tension of White Dominance - Sensitization through Art<\/strong> \u2013 Workshop<\/summary>
\n

Racism is a construct invented by white Europeans and has become structurally embedded in the society of the global North. Experiences of racism have a damaging effect on mental health. However, People of Color have a harder time getting a place in therapy. In order to more equitably realize a shared, diverse life, it is necessary to critically examine privilege on one's own, as well as build a sensitive attitude. Creative design can serve to break down prejudices. Therefore, in addition to a theoretical discussion, this workshop will also include work with simple artistic materials. *The workshop is open to all people who are interested in the topic. However, the workshop will be led by a white person. Content will be discussed that can be very stressful for those affected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Annabell Lilienthal<\/a><\/span>
I am Annabell (she\/her) white, 26 years old and a trained special educator(BA) and now also a very fresh art therapist. This year I finished my master at the Alanus University near Bonn. The topic of my master thesis was \"Visibility of clients of color in art therapy under the condition of a racism-sensitive therapeutic attitude\". Professionally, it is my desire to work in the most heterogeneous therapy setting possible, where intersectional perspectives are taken into account.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n

SELF-AS-OTHER-TRAINING: TEXTILES<\/strong> \u2013 Workshop<\/summary>

The basis of the workshop is the choreographed and performative training \"Self-As-Other-Training: Textiles\", which highlights the daily invisible routines of workers* in the global supply chain.\u00a0Following the collective movement session, we will turn to the intersecting structures of discrimination and exploitation in the global North-South relationship through creative writing and dialogue, and then explore possibilities of solidarity ourselves in an artistic-performative way.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Vivien Tauchmann<\/span>
I am a designer, performance artist & political image maker. My work explores socio-political relations through an embodied and kinesthetic approach. By developing projects that position the human body as a communicative material, I seek to uncover the interpersonal aspects of man-made infrastructures and subvert processes that seem to condition social and cultural boundaries. I studied fashion design at the Faculty of Applied Arts in Schneeberg and later a master's degree in Social Design at the Design Academy Eindhoven. Currently I live in Leipzig. Besides working on my own projects and collaborations, I am active in some initiatives, including the Clean Clothes Campaign.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n

EL AGUA NO SE VENDE! Water Justice in the Context of Persisting Colonial Conditions<\/strong> \u2013 Workshop<\/summary>

In March of this year, the Caravan for Water and Life<\/a><\/em> traveled through Mexico. On the occasion of the neoliberal exploitation of water by large European corporations, indigenous people are demanding the right to water. Together we want to explore colonial contexts and connect with indigenous activists from Mexico. How can water justice be fought for globally? In order to interact, we slip into new roles during the simulation, discuss and find solutions and strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the Zapatista Soli Support Dresden<\/strong>
Since the journey of the Zapatista grassroots movement and other activists from Mexico last year, the Zapatista Soli Support Dresden has been doing public relations work in the form of educational offers or booths on the ideas of the Zapatista movement. For the current occasion they deal with the topic of water and indigenous struggles. In public relations and financial support they see their current task to support the movements on the ground.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n

IMPERIALISMUS UND ZEITGEN\u00d6SSISCHER KOLONIALISMUS AUS DER PERSPEKTIVE LATEINAMERIKANISCHER MIGRANT*INNEN – <\/strong>Paneldiskussion (auf Englisch) <\/summary>
\n

Due to globalization and increasing migration worldwide, the issue of \"brain drain\" and \"brain gain\" is becoming more and more important, especially in the area of mobility of highly qualified people from so the Global South to the Global North. This leads to a shortage of skilled workers in the countries of origin, which has a negative impact on the country's economy and development. Germany currently has a high demand for skilled labor and therefore offers various programs to attract migrants. However, these programs have their points of criticism and challenges, which is why we, as migrants living in Germany, would like to discuss and analyze different positions and perspectives on migration from a critical decolonial point of view with this lecture and panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Colombian migrant with studies in Industrial Engineering and Master in Environmental Resources Management. ROSITAS PUPPET'S THEATER: The rabbit in the moon<\/strong> (5 years and up)<\/summary>
\n

For children aged 5 and over<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rabbit Rodolfo and Mateo are good friends. Together they grow carrots, which grow magnificently. During the harvest they get into a fight because they don't want to share the carrots. They scold and bite and finally they are no longer friends. Rodolfo, grieving for his lost friend, flies as far away as he can - to the moon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But can that be the end of the play? The children rewrite the ending. With their help, possible courses of action are developed as to how Rodolfo and Mateo can become friends again. And indeed: Mateo and Rodolfo get along, share their harvest and celebrate their friendship with a carrot festival. Even the mouse, who had previously tampered with the carrots, is invited to the feast. Sharing can be so beautiful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How did Rosita's puppet stage come about?<\/span>
Puppet theater as a means of understanding was developed in 2003 by the International Peace Service SIPAZ in Chiapas, Mexico. Heike Kammer, who worked for pbi and the Protestant Development Service in the SIPAZ project, gained her first experience in puppet theater at that time. Puppet theater proved to be a suitable method to get adults from hostile villages to reflect on their conflicts and to support local peace initiatives. Children were also fascinated by the puppets' play. In 2007, Heike Kammer brought the idea of puppetry to Germany and designed her plays for a younger audience, giving her puppet theater the name \"Rositas Puppenb\u00fchne\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

worked in the peace teams of pbi in Latin America from 1987 to 2006. Since 2007 she has been working for pbi Germany in peace and human rights education. In the interactive puppet show \"The Dwarfs and Climate Change\", climate change and consumerism in our industrial society and its global consequences for people and the environment are brought to life in a playful way for children. Together with the animals, the children go on a journey to save Mother Earth from global environmental destruction and to teach the dwarfs Bim and Bum about sustainable action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The children are sensitized to global injustice in the context of environmental destruction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The care and climate crises are more closely connected than one might think at first glance: Both crises are about issues of global exploitation and power structures. How does the \"depletion of human and ecological resources\" (Winker) manifest itself and how did it come about? In this workshop, we will learn about the iceberg model together and then engage in conversation about the causes and connections of the care and climate crises. Social Transformation and Activism through illustration<\/strong> Vortrag (auf Englisch) <\/summary>

Pictures can have a great impact.\u00a0They can awaken strong emotions in us - make us angry or sad, desperate or hopeful. Illustration can visually translate complex knowledge, making it quickly and memorably accessible for everyone. And in world that is growing more and more complex, where we are confronted with crises from which the ways out are immensely difficult and confused, the right communication is becoming more and more important. This is where illustration steps in and can take a vital role. German illustrator Sarah Heuzeroth will talk about her work on \u201aGreen Illustration', give examples on the relevance and responsibility that illustrations can have and will give insights in her everyday life as a freelance illustrator. She is convinced that only if we all combine our respective skills and expertise can we create a social-ecological change towards a solidarity-based way of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
