The date, location and theme for the Political Art Days 2026 have been set!

We are excited to to announce that this year's Political Art Days (PADs) will take place on the second weekend of September at AZ Conni in Dresden.

The PADs are a public education and art festival for Global Learning that has taken place annually since 2016, each year under a different theme. This year's focus: "The World We Move – Movement of People and Goods in Times of Climate Crisis".

The World We Move – Movement of People and Goods in Times of Climate Crisis

Everything is in motion. Yet not everyone moves with the same freedom.

In diesem Jahr beleuchten die PADs die sozialen und ökologischen Aspekte globaler Bewegungsmuster – von Waren, Dienstleistungen, und Migration in Zeiten der Klimakrise. Die Mitwirkenden und Teilnehmenden sind eingeladen, über Grenzen und Etiketten hinauszuschauen. Wie prägen die Routen des globalen Handels die Pfade menschlicher Migration? Wie können wir in Zeiten multipler Krisen die Art und Weise, wie wir uns bewegen und wie wir einander bewegen, neu denken?

Be part of the Political Art Days 2026! For the festival to be a success, we need your contributions! Be it a workshop, performance, installation, film, panel discussion, game, ritual, or a format that does not have a name yet - everything is welcome.
