The Group Facilitation Path: Co-creating safe and brave spaces for transformative learning experiences
Are you a youth worker, educator, or facilitator looking to deepen your practice and support meaningful group processes? Join The Group Facilitation Path, a two-part Erasmus+ training course series dedicated to exploring group facilitation within the context of transformative education.
Through two immersive gatherings in Germany and Czechia, you’ll build confidence in navigating group dynamics, develop tools to foster inclusive and reflective learning spaces, and expand your understanding of your role as a facilitator.
What to Expect
- Mobility 1: Let’s Talk About Group Facilitation
27 October – 2 November 2025, Grillenburg Youth Center (near Dresden, Germany)
Discover what it means to be a facilitator, explore theoretical frameworks like Theory U and Nonviolent Communication, and engage in open-space sessions rooted in your own facilitation experience.
- Mobility 2: Group Dynamics in Action
18 – 25 April 2026, NaNebi, Předklášteří (near Brno, Czechia)
Dive into practical work around conflict, leadership, emotional management, and community engagement. Reflect collectively, and co-create tools for your facilitation journey.
Who is this for?
We’re looking for youth workers, workshop leaders, and anyone who facilitates group processes in community or educational settings. Applicants must be over 18, speak English, and reside in one of the following countries: Germany, Czechia, Poland, Hungary, Italy, or the Netherlands. Priority will be given to those who can commit to both training courses.
What’s Included?
Accommodation, food (delicious vegan meals), travel reimbursement, and all learning materials are covered by Erasmus+. You’re invited to support the project with a voluntary donation.
Why Join?
This is more than a training—it’s a space for connection, reflection, and co-creation. You’ll leave with practical tools, expanded networks, and a co-developed facilitation toolkit that will be shared publicly after the course.
